Christopher W. Schatz joined the live events industry in 2015 after honorably separating from the United States Air Force in 2014. He started his career by aiming to achieve his BA in Audio Production from The Arts Institute of Atlanta which he received in 2018 with Magna Cum Laude Honors. Chris took on full-time school studies while pursuing freelance work with local production companies. His goal was to learn all in's and out's of the industry. His knowledge base extends to Video, LED, Lighting, AV Installs, System Designs, Backline, & Stage Management. As an Audio Engineer, Chris has extensively pursued being the best engineer and providing the sweetest sound in all calibers. Chris toured for a couple year's with the band Resist Capture as a drummer. During his years, Chris has worked with many artists from Japanese Breakfast, A1A, Thousand Horses, After 7, Ezra Ray Heart,Winona Judd and others. Please see resume for "Mixing Gigs". Since 2018, Chris has gained full-time employment as a lead audio engineer where he gained extensive knowledge & deployment in common audio equipment such as Clear Comm, Shure, Senheiser, Meyer Sound, d&b Audiotechnik & L' Acoustics gear. He teaches drum lessons from time to time and provide's professional drum sessions. His passion for music and live mixing continues and is always looking for the next opportunity to provide the best professional services from corporate, live, & install environments.
